How do I see a Doctor or Nurse?
Just ring or come to the surgery (by yourself or bring a friend) and an appointment will be arranged for you.

Confidentiality
Anything you discuss with us will NOT be disclosed to ANYONE without your consent.

An exception is if you or someone else is in physical danger and this would first be discussed with you.

Got an urgent problem?
If you have an urgent problem (e.g. you need emergency contraception / morning after pill), we will always try to see you as soon as possible. If the appointment is for emergency contraception just ask for a “1 2 1” appointment.

Please tell the receptionist that you need to be seen today. She will probably ask you the reason why, in order for us to arrange an appropriate appointment for you. You can ask to speak to the receptionist privately or tell her that "it is a personal problem" if you find it embarrassing to talk about. The receptionist will always keep your conversation confidential.
