Murano Glass Caviar Serving Table

1960/70’s glass table with formed dish centre. The top is removable and is mounted on a chromed steel support above a cylindrical base containing a lamp. When illuminated the hand formed glass top casts wonderful patterns and illuminates the ice to an iridescent glow. The item is of clear glass with an applied deep red rim. This item appears to be a one-off design. The size of the piece dictates that it was made by a master craftsman, as only a very skilled glass blower could produce a piece of this size. The item is in perfect condition with only a small chip to the inside top of the rim of the base, which is covered by the chrome support.
