Marble Coat Of Arms Cheek Family
Coat of arms of the Ceek family. Carrera marble. Very weathered and stained to a wonderful patina. The Cheeks are a very old English family who predate the Norman invasion. The ancestral seat was Pyrgo Park in Essex. In 1852 the original palace was demolished and replaced with a new house (now demolished). It is likely this Coat of Arms dates to the earlier building.
