Rococo Gilt Wood Chandelier

Exceptional 12 branch Rococo Gilt Wood Chandelier. Manufactured from turned and carved hardwood elements with iron wire reinforcing to the arms. This piece is not converted for electricity and retains its original gesso and water-gilding. The piece has been used to a wonderful patina in places the gilding is rubbed to expose the underlying red boule, In places the gesso is chipped and the wood exposed - this only adds to the beauty of the piece. Fabulous original condition.
