Truman Pub Sign and Frame

Wrought iron and painted wood pub sign from The Truman Brewery, Spitalfields, London, UK.

The sign is hand painted on both sides with a very fine, well executed depiction of a fully rigged ship.

The sign does not bear the name of a pub but just the name of the brewer 'Truman'. This would suggest that the sign hung on the Brewery, rather than at a Public House.

The sign is suspended on a fine wrought iron frame and is at present attached to a display stand.
