Carved Walnut Trunk

19th Century walnut chest constructed from hand cut planks and assembled with hand cut nails and wrought iron fittings. The chest is decorated on the front and the inside of the lid with a very bold and crisp circular carved geometric pattern. The chest is in very good condition with a very pleasing patina and waxed finish.
